Welcome!

From our family garden to yours.

Fort Pond Native Plants was created over 20 years ago when Jim saw the need for a place where one could find native and less common, quality plant material. In the process, he also gave the Do-It-Yourself gardener a place to go to learn about unique and organic approaches to gardening.

Always one step ahead of the game, we strive to keep our shelves stocked with the latest innovations in pest & weed control, organic fertilizer, and natural growth supplements. Not to mention the plants. We could go on all day about the plants. We have cultivated a phenomenal bunch of vendors, most of whom grow locally in the Northeast region, and many are growing right here in Suffolk County. These growers have generations of experience in their fields, and continuously provide us with the highest quality plant material. And, to keep things exciting, they are always introducing new material to the market. These new cultivars have all been time tested in their family gardens before being offered to yours.

We also welcome you to stop in and visit our gift shop! Always boasting quality items for your home and garden, we now offer locally made items! We are bringing in everything from jewlery, to candles & home fragrances, to handcrafted fine art pieces.
